As part of the Kick & Push Festival – come down to the Grand Theatre, and check out Ambrose.
This is a pretty cool performance that is all about the story of Ambrose Small. In 1919, Small, who was a tycoon and self-made millionaire sold all of the theatres he owned. He then disappeared the next day, and to this day no-one has ever found his body.
There was lots of rumours including the fact that his wife was responsible – as well as the fact that there was apparently a police cover-up.
This is a really cool theatre experience and if you’re not a huge fan of theatre then it’s only 50 minutes in length – no intermissions, which is nice. Also a great introduction to theatre as well.
Tickets cost $20 plus fees.
