You’ve most likely heard of Ontarios version of Bruce Springsteen – Fred Eaglesmith – and Dear Johnny Deere is a fantastic tribute to the songs and music that the Juno award winner has produced.
Dear Johnny Deere is based on Eaglesmiths music, and it’s all tied together in a great musical that has recieved a lot of critical aclaim.
The story itself is about Johnny – who runs a farm. Life isn’t going too well – and when the city inform him they want to put highway through his land – well, he’s got a lot of decisions to make.

It’s at the Springer Theatre in Gananoque, and there are evening shows every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8pm. There are also matinees every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 2:30pm.
