The Marine Museum has partnered with H’art Centre to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement. Through this partnership, they will be increasing access to their programs by building a relationship with H’artists while also collaboratively building community art initiatives through the Our Great Lakes: Celebrating Our Freshwater Resource project.
The community is invited to connect with the local waterways by engaging in arts-based workshops, exhibits, and performances. Workshops are open to the public and will run Saturdays 10am-12pm from 2 July to 3 Sept. The ultimate art installation with contributions from both H’artists and community members will be open from October to December. Register for one of our summer workshops here: https://marmuseum.ca//education/museum-events
This partnership is made possible by the Community Foundation for Kingston & Area. Be sure to sail by and check it out!
