On May 15th, 2016 head to the Ongwanada Auditorium for a pet first aid course.
If you have pets you really owe it to yourself and your pets to do that – it’s so easy for injuries or medical issues to occur and it’s good to know the basics.
This course will be focused on dogs with the Kingston Humane Society, Downtown Animal Hospital and Princess Animal Hospital all teaming up. There’ll also be recommendations for exotics and cats as well.
It’ll cover common injuries and emergency situations like broken bones, heat stroke, artificial respiration and more.
It’s 12:30pm-3:30pm and is $50 with proceeds going to the Humane Society plus you get a first aid kit for your pet!
Register by visiting the Humane Society or register with credit card over the phone. 613-546-1291, extension #106.
