Amherstview Community Fun Day BBQ

Come celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Leisure and Activity Centre and the end of summer with a free Community Fun Day BBQ! Join us on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Leisure and Activity Centre in Amherstview for an afternoon of fun, food, and festivities. Bring your family and friends to enjoy a variety of activities, meet our friendly staff, and engage with local community groups including Loyalist Recreation, Amherstview Lions Club volunteers, and Kingston Ultimate Frisbee.

There’s something for everyone at this exciting event! Dive into the fun with an inflatable slide and climbing wall, large yard games, and an art station where you can get creative with tattoos. Kids will love the obstacle course set up in the meeting room, while adults can join a Zumba class with Dave from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Don’t miss the Ultimate Frisbee demo, game, and throwing clinic, and be sure to treat yourself at the mobile ice cream bar. The BBQ, sponsored by Barr Homes, will offer delicious food to fuel your fun day. It’s a perfect way to close out the summer and celebrate our community!
