Kingston Symphony’s Scotch Tasting

Scotch Tasting – A Whisky Experience with the Kingston Symphony

Immerse yourself in the rich flavors of Scotland at the Kingston Symphony’s Scotch Tasting event on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Renaissance Supper Club. This exclusive tasting experience will transport guests to the Hebrides, featuring a guided sampling of four exceptional single malt whiskies from the famed Isles of Scotland.

A Journey Through Scotland’s Finest Whiskies

Led by Alan Taylor, a native Scotsman and whisky aficionado, this informative and entertaining tasting will explore the distinctive characteristics of whiskies from renowned distilleries, including:

Jura – Known for its rich, nutty flavors with a hint of smoke.

Talisker – A bold, maritime-inspired whisky with a signature peppery finish.

Arran – A smooth and fruity expression from the Isle of Arran.

Kilchoman – A small-batch Islay whisky offering deep peat and complexity.

An Evening of Flavor and Culture

Adding to the atmosphere, a bagpiper will set the scene for an authentic Scottish experience. Each whisky will be expertly paired with mouthwatering tapas, enhancing the tasting with perfectly matched flavors.

Supporting the Future of Music in Kingston

This event is not only a celebration of fine whisky and Scottish heritage but also a way to support the Kingston Symphony Association. All proceeds from the event will go toward fostering music and the arts in the community.
