Launch / Dinner of Landing: No.9 Gardens Exhibition
You are invited to the Landing: No.9 Gardens Launch and Dinner! We’re thrilled to welcome you to this unique exhibition featuring celebrated artists from Canada and around the world. Join us in Lyndhurst on July 20th for an evening of contemporary art and a delicious seed-to-table meal. This is a rain or shine event, so please dress accordingly and wear appropriate footwear for outdoor touring. Attendees can drive up themselves or catch our shuttle bus for just $10 return. Dinner is $15 per person.
The Landing: No.9 Gardens Exhibition explores the question, “What is land doing? Land-ing?” On the shores of a meandering creek and the wildflower fields of No.9 Gardens, artists Amanda Boulos, Maurício Chades, Marianne Chénard, JP Longboat, Ella Dawn McGeough, Kelsey Pearson, Sarah Peebles, Erica Stocking, Christian Bernard Singer, and José Luis Torres delve into the sensory experiences of edges, limits, and borders. Through their works, they express how landing shapes and permeates the human dream world. Curated by Sunny Kerr, Curator of Contemporary Art, with the curatorial assistance of Sarah Tomkins, this exhibition promises to be a thought-provoking and immersive experience.
