Limestone city car show

Get out and check out the Limestone City Car Show, a premier annual event for car enthusiasts, on August 31, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Kingston Memorial Centre. Organized by the Limestone City Car Club and founded by David Dick and Brian Beatty, this event aims to bring car lovers together while raising awareness and funds for the Kingston Melanoma Cancer Clinic in memory of Brian’s daughter Melonie, who passed away from melanoma at the age of 35. The show features live music, a 50-50 draw, delicious food, and hundreds of beautiful cars. Rain or shine, this event promises a day of fun and community spirit.

Since its humble beginnings in 2013, the show has grown significantly, now attracting over 500 vehicles from both sides of the border and over 3,000 spectators. With 25 different classes, trophies are awarded to the top three in each category. The event has raised over $84,000 for the Melanoma Clinic, thanks to the dedication of volunteers, sponsors, and participants.
