The Kingston Baroque Consort Presents “The Dragon of Wantley”

Step back in time and experience a delightful evening with The Dragon of Wantley, presented by The Kingston Baroque Consort. This enchanting performance on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 7:30 PM, brings together music, art, and storytelling at the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts.

Enjoy a retelling of this comedic tale narrated by Matthew Davis, accompanied by John Frederick Lampe’s incidental music, and featuring original artwork by local artist Colton Fox.

Bonus Workshop: Arrive early at 6:30 PM for a free, all-ages Draw Your Own Dragon workshop in the Isabel lobby, hosted by Colton Fox. Learn to make your own “Dragon zine” and unleash your creativity!

This unique concert is made possible with support from the Kingston Arts Council and the Ballytobin Foundation. The Kingston Baroque Consort, founded in 2021, is an ensemble of professional musicians devoted to the historically informed practice of Baroque music. Members include talented musicians from the Kingston Symphony Orchestra and beyond.
