Ukrainian Inspired, Canadian Made: Easter Bazaar

Looking for an authentic cultural experience, delicious food, and a way to support a community in need? The Ukrainian Inspired, Canadian Made: Easter Bazaar is happening on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at St. Michael’s Ukrainian Church, located at 472 Bagot Street, Kingston, Ontario. This family-friendly event is a celebration of Ukrainian heritage, offering an incredible selection of homemade delicacies and traditional crafts just in time for Easter.

Visitors can look forward to perogies, cabbage rolls (available for pre-order), homemade baking, and traditional Ukrainian Easter bread (Paska)—all made with love by dedicated community volunteers. There will also be beautiful handcrafted art and much more, perfect for gift-giving or adding something special to your Easter celebrations. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Ukrainian cuisine or eager to try something new, this event is a feast for the senses.

More than just a food and craft market, the Easter Bazaar is also an opportunity to show solidarity and support for Kingston’s Ukrainian community. As the people of Ukraine continue their courageous fight for democracy in the face of the Russian invasion, this event is a meaningful way for our local community to come together in support. Every purchase at the bazaar contributes to the preservation of Ukrainian culture and provides much-needed encouragement to those standing strong for freedom and peace.

Admission is free, and cash-only purchases ensure a simple, traditional experience. Bring your friends, family, and an appetite for great food—and help support a resilient community that continues to inspire us all.
